Infertility Due to Different Egg Problems

Egg quality is the most important factor of Infertility in most the women. Though infertility in women may be due to several factors, egg quality is one of those frequent causes of infertility. Egg quantity and egg quality both are very essential for every woman. Both together i.e. egg quality and egg quantity are known as ovarian reserve. Every woman is born with a certain amount of eggs in her ovaries. With aging, the quantity of eggs reduces and causes Infertility in women. As we all know eggs are released during ovulation and fertilize to develop a baby. Egg quality is the probability of embryo implantation. Eggs need chromosomes and also contain mitochondria which provide energy to eggs and assist them to split after fertilization. Mitochondria present in eggs produce less energy as women age and cause Infertility.

Women with poor egg quality face difficulties in getting conceived and even when they are conceived may face miscarriage. The genetically normal or abnormal state of the egg is termed egg quality. Women face irregular ovulation as she ages and it reduces her reproductive ability and also her DNA in her eggs starts reducing. An egg needs to have few features to transform into embryos like the egg should have the right chromosomes, it should possess the ability to combine with sperm and it should also contain the energy to split after fertilization. An egg without these features is called a poor egg.
